The Busi­ness En­ter­prise Amaranth as a civ­il part­ner­ship was found­ed in 1993 with the pur­pose of launch­ing pro­duc­tion and or­ga­niz­ing the mar­ket of ama­ranth (a­ma­ran­tus) in Poland The first plan­ta­tions of ama­ranth in this coun­try were or­ga­nized with ac­tive par­tic­i­pa­tion of the fir­m.
In the course of the past years in close co­op­er­a­tion with sci­en­tif­ic and re­search in­sti­tu­tions the en­ter­prise launched the pro­duc­tion tech­nol­o­gy of ama­ranth which gave the en­ter­prise the pos­si­bil­i­ty of ob­tain­ing the raw ma­te­ri­al of a very high qual­i­ty.
The co­op­er­a­tion of the firm with the re­search in­sti­tu­tions has been based upon the ac­tiv­i­ties aimed at work­ing out an in­tro­duc­tion of stan­dard recipes for the use of ama­ranth seeds flour ce­re­als popped seeds (pop­ping) and amaranth oil (s­ince 2006).
